LG to Participate Virtual Showroom in IFA 2020

LG wil launch its first IFA virtual exhibition on September 3rd, demoing the benefits of convenient, smart home technology to resonate with home-bound customers during the coronavirus crisis.

The firm displays various devices in its virtual space, the stars of the show are its OLED screens. In particular, it highlights an installation called “OLED New Wave” which includes a range of flexible / rollable screens that the company also has presented at CES earlier this year.

It has partnered with the Korean office of Unity Technologies to use the latter’s Unity engine for interactive content creation.

On other hand, LG’s approach seems like a fun way to get people interested in its displays and appliances, which could come across as dull if presented in a typical online press conference. The virtual showroom will remain live throughout September and can be accessed either on a browser or through the  Virtual Studio mobile app for Android and iOS devices.

Noteworthy, LG”s IFA 2020 press conference will take place in Messe Berlin on September 3 at 11:00 CEST and livestreamed on the its Global YouTube channel.

Visitors to LG”s IFA 2020 virtual booth will learn all about the benefits of the company”s comprehensive range of smart home appliances and integrated services by making their way through a variety of different zones.

Kim Jin-hong the LG Electronics’ Global Marketing Center head, explained although we would prefer to be participating under better circumstances, we are excited to be a part of IFA 2020 to share with consumers around the globe our vision for a healthier and infinitely more convenient home.

IFA reported that over 80 main manufacturers will attend the present, and they wrapped up a bunch of early particulars to assist determine what to anticipate. Also, they will hold this publish up to date as IFA 2020 will get nearer.
