Third Coronavirus death case has been confirmed in Lebanon after a 79-year-old man who tested positive for the virus has died earlier Thursday.

The patient had been suffering from cancer, according to the Lebanese health ministry.

Late Wednesday, Lebanon announced seven new cases of the coronavirus in the country, bringing the total number of infection cases to 68, according to Lebanese MTV TV channel.

It is worth mentioning that, on Wednesday, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared Coronavirus a global pandemic as the new virus has rapidly spread to more than 121,000 people from Asia to the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.

More cases of the virus, which causes respiratory disease Covid-19, continue to emerge, with outbreaks in South Korea, Italy, and Iran.

China– the epicenter of coronavirus outbreak-is trying with all its might to confront the effects resulting from the outbreak of the new Coronavirus via a series of strong and effective measures that seek to reduce the number of deaths and injuries caused by this deadly virus.

It is known that older people appear to be more vulnerable to the effects of the emerging virus.

Transmission of viruses between humans happens when someone comes into contact with an infected person’s secretions, such as droplets in a cough.

They can also be transmitted by coming into contact with something an infected person has touched and then touching your mouth, nose or eyes.
