Lebanese Prime Minister Visits the Grand Egyptian Museum

The Grand Egyptian Museum welcomed Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, accompanied by Minister of Culture Ghassan Salamé, Minister of Energy and Water Joseph Saddi, and their accompanying delegation. The visit was part of the delegation's official visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim, CEO of the Grand Egyptian Museum Authority, welcomed the guests and took them on a tour of the outdoor courtyard, the main lobby, and the Grand Staircase, leading them to the 12 main exhibition halls, which narrate comprehensive chapters of the history of ancient Egyptian civilization, from the early dynasties to the Greek and Roman eras.

At the conclusion of the visit, the Lebanese Prime Minister and members of the accompanying delegation expressed their great admiration for what they had seen inside the museum, appreciating the great efforts made by the Grand Egyptian Museum Authority to preserve this unique cultural edifice. They also praised the splendor of the museum's displays and its global cultural value.
