According to Lebanese television, President Aoun has been closely monitoring the security developments along the northeastern border.
He received multiple calls from Army Commander General Rodolphe Haikal, who briefed him on the measures taken by the Lebanese Army to restore calm and stability to the region.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese Army announced that it has begun patrolling the "Housh Al-Sayyid Ali" area to ensure security and maintain stability along the border with Syria.
The army stated, "We have started implementing security measures in the Housh Al-Sayyid Ali area in coordination with Syrian authorities to reinforce border security."
