The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health announced that the death toll from the Israeli airstrike on the town of Bshamoun in the Aley district of Mount Lebanon has risen to four, including a three-year-old girl, with four others injured.
Israeli airstrikes on the towns of Selaa, Srifa, and Aitaat in the Tyre district resulted in the deaths of five people and injuries to seven others.
Earlier, the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants summoned the Iranian chargé d'affaires in Lebanon, Tawfiq Samadi Khoshkho, and informed him that he was persona non grata.
The Iranian ambassador was asked to leave Lebanese territory no later than next Sunday.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also summoned the Lebanese ambassador to Iran, Ahmed Sweidan, for consultations, citing what it described as Tehran's violation of diplomatic norms and established practices between the two countries.
