The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health's Public Health Emergency Operations Center reported on Monday that Israeli airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut and southern Lebanon resulted in the deaths of 31 citizens and injuries to 149 others, according to initial reports.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health explained in a statement that the airstrikes killed 20 citizens and wounded 91 others in the southern suburbs, and killed 11 citizens and wounded 57 others in southern Lebanon.
The southern suburbs of Beirut and southern Lebanon were targeted by a series of Israeli airstrikes, which led to the displacement of thousands and caused extensive damage to civilian infrastructure.
