Lebanese Minister of Defense Maurice Sleem survived, Thursday, an assassination attempt, Lebanese media outlets reported.
His car was shot by several bullets in the Jisr Al-Basha, nearby Beirut.
According to media reports, Sleem was transported to a safe zone and he was not injured.
Shortly, the minister told MTV Lebanon that he is fine, and the damages are only linked to his car as the rear windshield was destroyed by the bullets.
He said: "I am fine, but my car’s rear window was hit by bullets."
