The Lebanese Army announced that two soldiers were wounded in an Israeli attack on one of its patrols, which was assisting Civil Defense personnel and two civilian bulldozers in the town of Majdal Zoun, Tyre District, while carrying out a rescue operation for civilians.
In a statement released via the "X" platform, the army explained that the attack occurred while the patrol was performing its humanitarian duty of assisting civilians, resulting in injuries to two soldiers. The relevant authorities are continuing to monitor the situation on the ground and are taking the necessary measures.
The Lebanese Civil Defense Directorate had previously announced that its personnel were targeted by the Israeli occupation forces while carrying out a rescue and first aid operation for those injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted the town of Majdal Zoun.
