Leaders of Egyptian communities abroad have expressed their deep appreciation, and paid tribute to all health teams striving in hospitals to save lives of those who contracted the novel coronavirus epidemic.

In Austria, Bahgat Al-Obeidi, Egyptian writer and founder of the International Union of Egyptian Citizens Abroad, said that the medical sector in Egypt made by doctors, nurses and pharmacists, represents a unique model of sacrifice and giving, something that is hailed much by Egyptians inside and outside the homeland.

Al-Obeidi regarded that this level of sacrifice is much appreciated, especially in a time when the crisis is already sweeping the whole world, stressing that the health teams in Egypt have scored an outstanding performance, which reflects their professional sincerity as well as the extent of belief in their human mission.

On his part, Engineer Hossam Bazina, head of the General Federation of Egyptians in Austria, said that the risks faced by Egypt's doctors in their strong war against the spread of Coronavirus reflect their absolute courage.

Bazina added: "We reject the bullying experienced by some doctors in Egypt, which reflects some lack of awareness at what those people are doing, declaring his support and the absolute support for the brave Egyptians doctors and nurses, calling for providing all means of care for them.

On his part, Alaa Thabet, head of the Egyptian family’s home in Germany, said that Egypt’s doctors present an honorable model that every indigenous Egyptian is proud of.

He added: "We demand that all care be provided to the medical sector in Egypt, as they are exposed to a great danger as a result of dealing with one of the most dangerous viruses, which no country in the world has yet been able to reach to a vaccine for it.

Thabet called on the Egyptian people to support the health sector, stressing the importance of people's awareness of the great dangers that doctors face.

In Switzerland, Gamal Hammad, head of the Egyptian family’s home in Geneva, said that Egyptians in Europe appreciate the great role that Egypt’s doctors play, and they value the tremendous efforts they make.

Hammad added that the heroic doctors of Egypt risk their lives to save those of the Egyptian people, and that they do not save any effort in the treatment of the Egyptian people.

The head of the Egyptian family’s home in Geneva stressed the need to support Egypt’s doctors in this battle, which they are fighting with unparalleled courage.

In Paris, Saleh Farhood, head of the Egyptian community in France, said that the Egyptian government is sparing no effort to care for doctors, especially as they risk their lives for the sake of the Egyptian people.

Farhood denounced the Brotherhood's use of the death of some doctors to stir some Egyptians against the government, stressing that this is a despicable act.
