In the same vein, a source in the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated today, Monday, that Lillian Darii, the Moldovan ambassador to Russia, was summoned to the ministry's building.
According to the Russian agency "Sputnik", Darii, was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The source suggested that the summons came against the backdrop of Moldova's anti-Russian actions.
Earlier, Moldovan President Maia Sandu said there was no mutual respect in relations with Russia.
While Maria Zakharova, the spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, called these statements "false", so far, dialogue between countries is maintained at the level of embassies.
Since last year, the Moldovan authorities have been talking about the need to denounce a number of agreements with the CIS, the agreement on the unrestricted activities of the Mir radio and television corporation has been denounced, and a number of Russian media have been banned.
