Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is scheduled to embark on an official visit to North Korea on October 18-19.
This visit comes as a reciprocal gesture, following North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's visit to Russia from September 12 to 17, during which he engaged in discussions with President Vladimir Putin at the Vostochny Spaceport in Russia's Far Eastern Amur Region.
The Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed Lavrov's upcoming visit, stating that it is taking place at the invitation of the North Korean Foreign Ministry.
During Kim’s visit to Russia, Putin graciously accepted an invitation to visit North Korea, and the details of this significant visit are expected to be further discussed, including during Foreign Minister Lavrov's diplomatic mission to Pyongyang.
