Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will lead the Russian delegation to the G20 summit in Indonesia.
President Vladimir Putin will not attend the Bali summit, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told TASS on Thursday.
"It was decided that Russia will be represented by Sergey Lavrov at the G20 summit," Peskov said.
The G20 summit will be held during 15-16 November.
Meanwhile, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated that Russia will unveil several initiatives in the field of food and energy on the sidelines of the G20 summit, including gas cooperation with Turkey and supplies of large consignments of grain and fertilizer.
"Russia will confirm its readiness to remain a reliable supplier of food products and energy resources to foreign markets on both a commercial and humanitarian basis, at the same time rejecting any attempts at controlling price and other external pressure," Zakharova said.
She added that Russia plans "to announce several specific initiatives in this regard, including increasing gas cooperation with Turkey and organizing supplies of large quantities of grain and fertilizer."
"We emphasize the importance of demonopolizing the global economic architecture and developing logistics routes, technological clusters, and payment systems independent of political turbulence," Zakharova noted.
