Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that his country and China will soon hold a series of high-level contacts.
Lavrov added, during a speech before the Russian Duma, today, Wednesday: "We will conduct with the People's Republic of China a series of contacts at a high political level in the near future. We will continue to discuss relations, taking into account the documents signed recently, including the Document on New Relations in a New Era that It was signed a year ago, when President Vladimir Putin visited Beijing for talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping".
Russian-Chinese relations are witnessing significant growth in all political, economic and military fields, in addition to the fact that trade exchange between the two countries, according to the latest data, reached $190 billion by the end of 2022.
This comes at a time when the West is imposing unprecedented sanctions on Moscow because of its military operation in Ukraine.
