Russian Foreign Minister (FM) Sergey Lavrov stated on Monday that there is currently "no glimmer of hope on the horizon" for resolving the Palestinian conflict, emphasizing the urgent need to bring this matter to the attention of the UN Security Council.
Lavrov's remarks came during a press conference following talks in Moscow with Musalia Mudavadi, the Prime Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Kenya, according to the Russian news agency "Sputnik."
Regarding bilateral cooperation, Lavrov stated that the discussions focused on expanding joint projects in the fields of nuclear energy and space exploration.
The Foreign Minister added that prospects for cooperation in security and counter-terrorism were also discussed, including the supply of necessary equipment from Russia.
