Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias discussed on Wednesday the latest situation in Eastern Middeteranian over the phone.
"The two ministers exchanged views on the recent international and regional issues, including the situation in the eastern Mediterranean," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
They also discussed the prospects of bilateral cooperation in the light of the current Coronavirus restrictions, including upcoming events within the framework of the political dialogue.
Moreover, the two ministers underlined the importance of marking 2021 as the cross-year of the history of the two countries.
