Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Argentine Foreign Minister Santiago Cafiero affirmed their readiness to strengthen the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
In a statement, Russian Foreign Ministry said: "The foreign ministries discussed the prospects for the development of Russian-Argentine relations in a rapidly changing international environment and reaffirmed their readiness to strengthen the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries."
Earlier, Russian FM Sergei Lavrov has stated that Russia wants to resolve the situation around Ukraine as soon as possible, adding that the protection of civilians and the preservation of soldiers' lives is a priority.
