Jojo Rabbit is an American comedy-drama movie that was produced in 2019. It is based on Christine Leunens's book "Caging Skies".

The movie had its world premiere at the 44th Toronto International Film Festival on September 8, 2019 — where it won the top prize, the Grolsch People's Choice Award.

Jojo Rabbit drew mostly praise, especially for its performances, visual style, and production values, however, some criticism for its comedic portrayal of Nazis.

The plot revolves around a lonely German boy whose world view is turned upside down when he discovers his mother is hiding a young Jewish girl in their attic.

Rotten Tomatoes, one of the most trusted measurements of quality for Movies & TV, described the movie as “Jojo Rabbit's blend of irreverent humor and serious ideas definitely won't be to everyone's taste -- but either way, this anti-hate satire is audacious to a fault.”

It has scored an approval rating of 80% from Rotten Tomatoes, 8/10 from IMDb, while 92% of Google users liked the movie.
