Bombshell is an American biographical drama movie that was produced in 2019. It is based upon the accounts of several women at Fox News who set out to expose CEO Roger Ailes for sexual harassment.
The plot offers an insight into how many Fox News female employees were exposed to hard ordeals by the infamous man who created the most powerful and controversial media empire of all time; Fox News, and how they brought him down.
Rotten Tomatoes, one of the most trusted measurements of quality for Movies & TV, described the movie as “Bombshell benefits from a terrific cast and a worthy subject, but its impact is muffled by a frustrating inability to go deeper than the sensationalistic surface.”
It has scored an approval rating of 68% from Rotten Tomatoes, 6.8/10 from IMDb, 64% from Metacritic, while 76% of Google users liked the movie.
