On Tuesday, the English Heritage institution unveiled this week its nominations for the 2021 blue plaque Awards, and Late British Princess Diana is among the long stellar list.

Diana’s nomination comes in recognition of her Charity work during her life.

Her death sent shockwaves through the entire world as the late Princess of Wales had kept her years-long battle against the depression.

Despite the many years that have passed since her death, Diana was and remains the most important and renowned of English Princesses. She is the only English Princess that has a growing fan base even after her death and most of it is from Millennials who were born in her era.

According to the curatorial director at English Heritage Anna Eavis, the director reviled "Diana would have celebrated her 60th birthday this year, on July 1, 2021."

In the same context, Eavis added "It seems fitting that we should erect a plaque commemorating her work and influence in what would have been her 60th year."

Other besting fellow nominees and notable figures include designer Jean Muir, anti-slavery campaigner Ellen Craft, scientist Kathleen Lonsdale, barrister Helena Normanton and social reformer Caroline Norton, according to English Heritage.
