The Assistant Secretary-General for Palestine and the Occupied Arab Territories Affairs Saied Abu Ali called the international community to recognize an independent Palestinian state and give it full membership in the United Nations to end the occupation and empower Palestine to have its own right to sovereignty and independence.
Abu Ali asserted hailing the efforts of Egypt in delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza and providing the strip with its needs.
He also greeted and hailed the nations who showed solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Abu Ali added the necessity of achieving a permanent ceasefire.
