Ali Larijani, Iran's chief negotiator on national security issues such as the former Iranian nuclear program, stated that his country will not enter into negotiations with the United States, emphasizing that Iran did not start the war but is defending itself.
Larijani clarified that his country's position remains firm: it will not negotiate with Washington under the current circumstances. He asserted that any dialogue must be based on different foundations than those currently being proposed.
Larijani accused US President Donald Trump of plunging the region into chaos, holding American policies responsible for the current escalation, and affirming that his country will continue to defend itself against any aggression.
