The newspaper said that this development coincided with the publication of some pictures indicating that Algeria had installed missiles targeting its "enemy".

La Razón added: “A war at the gates of Spain? The truth is that Algeria and Morocco live in a state of maximum tension in the pre-war environment, and the killing of three Algerian truck drivers in the Sahara region served, who ever wants war, although there is no official confirmation in this regard."

It continued, "But in the neighboring country, Morocco is also ready to respond strongly in the event of an attack by the Algerian army," although it has no intention of going to war with its neighbors.

It also indicated that Morocco believes that "Algeria is looking for a pretext to wage war, denying that its armed forces are responsible for the killing of three Algerian truck drivers."

The Spanish newspaper also published pictures that it confirmed were "Algerian missiles on the border with Morocco."

Moroccan media indicated that the Spanish newspaper is famous for its links with the Spanish intelligence services, and that these are defensive missiles, and did not rule out in any way the risk of escalation.

On Thursday, Algeria wrote to the United Nations and other organizations about the killing of Algerians in Western Sahara, accusing Morocco of being behind it.

Algerian Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra sent letters, regarding the incident, to United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, Chairperson of the African Union Commission Moussa Faki Mohamed, Secretary General of the League of Arab States Ahmed Aboul Gheit, and Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Youssef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen.

The "MENADEFENSE" website, which specializes in defense affairs, published a report, in which it revealed new details of the targeting of the two Algerian trucks in Western Sahara recently.

The website indicated that the Moroccan attack was most likely carried out by one of the two "Turkish Bayraktar TB2" drone, which carry MAM-L ammunition or the Israeli "Hormes 450", which carries Hellfire ammunition.
