Kuwait’s Emir Expresses Happiness with Resolving Gulf Crisis

Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, expressed his great happiness and satisfaction on Friday evening, with the historic achievement and continuous and constructive efforts that have been made recently to solve the Gulf dispute.

“We remember, with appreciation, the constructive efforts of His Highness late Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, who led these efforts since the first day of the dispute and who laid the foundations for that settlement so that his efforts remain in the depths of our conscience and in the pages of our history,” the Emir of Kuwait said, according to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA ).

Sheikh Al-Sabah extended his congratulations and appreciation to the leaders of the Gulf states for achieving this historic step, and thanked all those who supported the mediation efforts undertaken by the State of Kuwait.

He also thanked US President Donald Trump for his "support, which reflects the commitment of the United States of America to maintaining the security and stability of the region."
