Kuwait's Foreign Minister (FM) Abdullah Al-Yahya discussed the rapidly evolving regional developments and joint efforts to stop the escalating violence with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
According to a statement from the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday, the discussion took place on the sidelines of the 10th Meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS. The meeting reviewed all aspects of joint cooperation between the two friendly countries and explored ways to enhance and develop them.
The ministers also expressed their anticipation for the sixth round of the Strategic Dialogue between the two nations, which will be held in Kuwait.
Blinken reiterated his country's appreciation for Kuwait's efforts in this regard. For his part, Minister Al-Yahya reaffirmed Kuwait's pride in the strong and deep-rooted historical relations between Kuwait and the United States.
