Kuwaiti Health Minister Bassel AL-Sabah has received the first dose of the covid-19 vaccine, according to "Al-Nahar" newspaper.

On Thursday, Kuwait launched the COVID-19 vaccination campaign, with the elderly and first frontline workers receiving the first doses, according to Sky News website.
Ten thousand people are expected to be vaccinated per day.
Kuwaiti Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah said, “the vaccine is safe and approved by the international community.”
Moreover, he added that the vaccination campaign will last for months, urging everyone to continue adhering to public health guidelines.
It is worth mentioning, on Wednesday Kuwait received the first shipment of coronavirus vaccines.
