Kuwaiti FM Stresses Need to Stop War in Gaza

Kuwaiti Foreign Minister (FM) Abdullah Al-Yahya expressed Kuwait's deep concern over the humanitarian disaster in the Gaza Strip and the brutal war that has claimed the lives of thousands of innocent civilians, including children, women, and the elderly.

In a statement on the sidelines of the 160th session of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Ministerial Council, Al-Yahya emphasized Kuwait's commitment to enhancing cooperation and coordination with GCC countries in various fields to address the current challenges facing the world, particularly the situation in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories.

According to the Kuwait News Agency, Al-Yahya stressed the need to stop the war in Gaza, underlining the importance of the 160th session of the GCC Ministerial Council.

He also emphasized the commitment to supporting the Republic of Yemen in various political, economic, and humanitarian fields to achieve comprehensive peace and stability for the Yemeni people, in accordance with the Gulf initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference, and UN Resolution 2216.
