Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the official delegation accompanying him will travel to United Kingdom (UK) on Monday, in response to an invitation extended to him by UK Prime Minister (PM) Rishi Sunak, according to Kuwaiti newspaper "Al-Qabas".
The Crown Prince is scheduled to participate in the celebration of the Kuwait Investment Office in UK on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of its founding.
For his part, Deputy Speaker of the British House of Commons Nigel Evans affirmed the strength of relations with Kuwait in all fields, which extend for many decades, describing the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Kuwait Investment Office in London as a historical anniversary for both countries.
He added that the relations between the two countries follow the same path and more under the leadership of the new Kuwaiti ambassador to London, Bader Al-Awadi, stressing the strengthening of British-Kuwaiti ties and their prominent activity in the field of promoting trade and investment.
