Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense, Colonel Staff Saud Abdulaziz Al-Atwan, stated, on Sunday, that three land border posts in the north of the country were subjected to a sinful, aggressive attack, resulting in material damage.
The spokesperson also pointed out that an offshore drilling platform belonging to the Kuwait Petroleum Company (KPC) in Kuwaiti territorial waters was targeted by a hostile drone. This attack resulted in material damage and injured one worker, who is currently receiving the necessary medical care.
He added that the competent authorities immediately took the required measures to handle the incident, in coordination with the relevant bodies.
Furthermore, the spokesman noted that the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army confirms the continued readiness of the Armed Forces, and that they have taken all necessary measures and precautions to maintain the country's security and the safety of its territories.
