Kuwaiti and UAE Ministries of Defense discussed joint security and military cooperation, as well as the exchange of expertise among the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states.
In a statement on Sunday, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense mentioned that the "UAE delegation visited the Sabah Al-Ahmad Coast Guard Base to review Kuwait's search and rescue methods and the latest developments at the Maritime Rescue Coordination Center (MRCC)."
The ministry added that the visit included discussions on enhancing cooperation between the two countries in communication and maritime rescue efforts.
The UAE delegation was received by Major General Mubarak Ali Al-Sabah, the Director-General of the Kuwaiti Coast Guard, along with several department directors.
