On Wednesday, Kuwait started forming the first government in the era of the new Emir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah.
The government will be headed by Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Sabah al-Salem al-Sabah.
He appointed Emad Mohammed Al-Atiqi as oil minister, Anwar Ali Al-Mudhaf as finance minister and Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya as the country’s foreign minister.
Kuwait’s new Emir came to power in December after the death of Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al Sabah.
