The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior announced the extension of all types of visit visas for one month, effective February 28th.
This decision comes amidst the exceptional circumstances the region is experiencing and the disruption of air travel.
The Ministry of Interior confirmed that the extension is processed automatically through the automated system without the need to visit residency affairs departments. It also includes a full exemption from fees and fines, and grants a three-month leave of absence to residents currently outside the country.
In a statement issued Wednesday, the Ministry explained that the extension is processed automatically through the automated system without requiring visits to residency affairs departments, and that all applicable fees and fines are waived during this period in recognition of the current exceptional circumstances.
