The Immigration Minister Nabila Makram announced Today the scheduling of flights for Egyptians traveling to Kuwait , following the resumeing Kuwaiti airlines its flights on January 2, according to the Kuwaiti authorities.
Meanwhile, Makram added in a statement that the companies have notified more than 1,500 stranded Egyptians of their new travel dates. In addition, the schedule of new appointments for Egyptians stranded in the Emirates will be published, and those who do not find their trip listed in the schedule should contact the Tourism Ministryhotline to receive the inquiries and complaints of stranded Egyptians.
Moreover, Makram called on the stranded Egyptians to understand the nature of the exceptional circumstances which world is going through, as well as cooperating to cross this emergency crisis, and to respect the laws and rules applied in the host countries. That move comes as a following up of the Ministry work to contact with Egyptian stranded people in the UAE during their return to Kuwait, following the suspension of Kuwaiti air , and communication and coordination between the Immigration Ministry and Tourism and Antiquities Ministry .
In contrast, the Tourism and Antiquities Minister Khaled Al-Anani reported that companies have a national role to facilitate procedures for Egyptians stranded abroad, as well as solve any problem until the crisis ends. Noteworthy, Kuwait announced resuming its flights on January 2, 2021.
