Ukrainian Foreign Minister (FM) Dmytro Kuleba stressed that providing Ukraine with modern combat aircraft would be decade's best security investment security for Europe.
"There are no rational arguments why Ukraine should not receive modern Western fighter aircraft, and I am convinced this decision will be made. Ukraine is Europe’s defender. Providing Ukraine with F-16s will be the best investment of this decade in the security of the European continent,” Kuleba emphasized at the EU Foreign Affairs Council's meeting.
Kuleba pointed out the need to start training Ukrainian pilots on Western-style aircraft as soon as possible so that they can use them as soon as they become available.
