KSA to Send 80 Metric Tonnes of Liquid Oxygen to India

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) will ship 80 metric tonnes of liquid oxygen to India due to the growing demand for oxygen after the unstoppable spike in COVID-19 cases.

The ongoing tragic rise in COVID-19 infections has caused a total collapse to the medical infrastructure in the state, leading it to urge aid from all countries. In addition, the liquid oxygen is running out in the whole country, in addition, all hospitals are at their full capaicty.

In the same context, UK is aiming to send ventilators and other medical devices to the suffering state. Also, India brought tanks for transporting oxygen from Singapore and UAE.

The country's daily infections rose by 346,786 on Saturday according to the Ministry of Health. The new number was considered as a new global record of daily Coronavirus infections.

The total number of COVID-19 infections since the beginning of the pandemic reached 17,176,728.
