On Friday, the Saudi Royal Court announced that King Salman is undergoing medical tests at a hospital in the capital, Riyadh.
“The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, may God protect him, is undergoing medical examinations today... at King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh,” the court said in a statement.
Two days earlier, Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman inaugurated new facilities at King Salman Air Base in Riyadh.
