Dmitry Peskov, the spokesman for the Russian Presidency (Kremlin), welcomed today, Sunday, the United States' willingness to facilitate the peace process and resolve the Ukrainian crisis, expressing his country's appreciation for Washington's declared readiness to support this process.
In statements reported by the Russian news agency TASS, Peskov said, "We observe a certain duality in the American position."
"On one hand, they supply Ukraine with weapons—despite U.S. President Donald Trump's statement that they do not fully know who receives them because they supply NATO, and the rest is not their concern—while on the other hand, Washington announces its readiness to facilitate a peaceful settlement to the crisis," he added.
