Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Saturday that French President Emmanuel Macron actively criticized US policy, when he spoke about the deployment of nuclear weapons outside the sovereign territory of the country.
"It has been a long time since we heard such harsh criticism of the United States of America from the French president," Peskov said.
Earlier, Macron had spoken, during a joint press conference with Chinese President Xi Jinping, about France's opposition to the deployment of nuclear weapons outside the sovereign territory of every country with nuclear power.
