The Israeli Knesset approved the peace treaty with the United Arab Emirates earlier today, Thursday, with most of the members giving their approval from both sides the government and the opposition.

The treaty was approved due to its historic importance not only to Israel and the U.A.E but for all the region.

The Israeli Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced in the Knesset that “Today is an unusual day in the history of Israel seeing it is the day when a peace treaty with an Arab country is approved."

He also “thanked President Trump and the Emirates’ Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for their impressive efforts to spread the peace in the world”.

Netanyahu continued saying “We present a peace treaty with no secrets or side notes to strengthen our relations with the U.AE.”

He added, "The treaty proves that Israel is no longer perceived as the enemy in the Arab region like the last ten years."

"Also, another great success is the opposition to Iran's nuclear weapon that I fought the world and sometimes some people here to prove the problems that will arise from this nuclear weapon."
