US National Security Council Spokesperson John Kirby said that the escalation of the military crisis in Ukraine is not in the interest of the United States (US).
"From the very beginning we talked about our role in surveillance, and we took into account the risks of an escalation of hostilities because this is not only bad for the Ukrainian population but also for our interests," he said in an interview with ABC.
Kirby added that the escalation of the crisis is also not in the interest of the Russian people.
