"Kira & El Gin" Cast to Resume Shooting after Eid al-Fitr

The cast of the highly-anticipated film "Kira & El Gin" is set to resume shooting immediately after Eid Al-Fitr.

The director of the film, Marawan Hamed completed shooting more than 50% of the production in many locations between Cairo and Ismailia and a number of interior scenes shot in studios.

"Kira & El Gin" stars Karim Abdel Aziz, Ahmed Ezz, Ruby, Hend Sabry, Sayed Ragab, Ahmed Malek, Huda El Mufti, and others.

The film is produced by Synergy films and is based on the novel “1919” by Egyptian author and screenwriter, Ahmed Mourad.

The film is an information-packed historical fiction set to the actual events of a significant era in Egypt’s history. It also recounts the role of the Egyptian uprising against Britain’s occupation of Egypt, during the 1919 revolution, through the lives of perse characters that include famous and obscure historical figures as well as fictional characters.

Abdel Aziz is currently participating in Ramadan with TV series "El Ekhteyar II", and Ezz with TV series "Hagma Mortada", both productions are centered around patriotism.
