On Thursday, Italian Opera star Irma Capece, the friend of the former king of Egypt Farouk, passed away at the age of 88 years old.
Capece trended several times in Egypt decades ago as she claimed that she is the third wife of the late King Farouk.
She claimed that she was married to the king in his yacht and she was only 18 years old.
Capece told Italian media outlets many years ago that she met King Farouk for the first time at the age of 13, and they followed Islamic religious wedding rituals.
She asserted that she had a marriage certificate, and she married the king for 10 years.
However, she claimed that the yacht was robbed after King Farouk's death, and among the stolen belongings is the marriage certificate.
Capece tried to approve her marriage and was interviewed several times by famous media platforms which showed a huge collection of photos of the couple. But, she failed.
