On Friday, UK's King Charles III, and Queen Consort Camilla landed in Sydney, Australia as the first long royal trip after his cancer diagnosis, and treatment.
King Charles III became the first reigning King to visit the country. In addition, it is the first visit by a British reigning monarch since 2011.
Also, this is the first royal tour to Australia for the couple since 2018.
His mother Queen Elizabeth II was the first reigning monarch to visit the country in 1954.
The royal couple was received by Governor-General Sam Mostyn, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and NSW Premier Chris Minns.
This visit will be for only five days due to the king's ongoing treatment for cancer, and his trip to Samoa on Wednesday for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.
Charles visited Australia 16 times during his run as a crown prince, and a Prince of Wales. The first one was in 1966 and the last one was in 2018.
It is expected that the King will participate in a reception at Capital Hill. After that, the he will take part in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Australian War Memorial.
The King will visit the National Botanic Gardens on Black Mountain, and have a meeting with scientists at the CSIRO.
Moreover, he will meet with Australians of the Year Georgina Long and Richard Scolyer to check their latest iconic research on cancer treatments before having a meeting with Indigenous representatives.
The Queen will meet family and domestic violence advocates and representatives from the organisation GIVIT. She will also visit a Sydney library.
The king will visit the Royal Australian Navy, which will be on display during a fleet review on Sydney Harbour, where the royal couple will also attend a community barbecue.
