King Charles III arrived in Germany with the Queen Consort Camilla, Wednesday, for the first Royal overseas state visit since taking the throne.

The Royal couple arrived at Berlin Brandenburg Airport to start their three-day visit. They were welcomed with a gun salute as two military jets carried out a fly past.

Shortly, various German officials greeted the King and Queen Consort once they took off the plane.

The visit was supposed to start on Sunday in France, before skipping the visit in France due to the strikes and civil issues in the European country.

The Royal couple will have a meeting with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife, Elke Budenbender.

They will have a welcoming ceremonial engagement with military honors at Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate for the Royal couple.

In addition, they will be guests of honor at a state banquet at Schloss Bellevue, the official residence of the German president.
