King Abdullah II of Jordan, on Sunday, explored avenues for cooperation and exchange of expertise between the Jordanian Armed Forces and the Global Industrial & Defence Solutions (GIDS) company during his visit to its headquarters in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad.
This visit falls within the framework of military cooperation between Jordan and Pakistan.
During the visit, King Abdullah II was briefed on the work of GIDS, a state-owned Pakistani company specializing in the research, development, and manufacturing of military and defense equipment and tools that utilize modern technology.
The visit was followed by King Abdullah II and Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif attending a Pakistani military exercise.
The exercise focused on marksmanship and maneuvering skills and included displays by the Air Force and multi-domain operations.
