Jordanian Royal Court announced that King Abdullah II began a working visit to the United States today, Sunday.
He is scheduled to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump in Washington on Tuesday.
According to a statement issued by the Royal Court on Sunday, the King will also meet with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, Special Presidential Envoy to the Middle East Steven Witkoff, and members of various committees in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.
Additionally, Jordanian King will meet in Boston with representatives of American companies, higher education institutions, and Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey tomorrow, Monday.
These meetings were postponed from last December due to prevailing weather conditions at the time.
Earlier today, Sunday, King Abdullah met with U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
