Special Awards announced Wednesday a list of the top 10 beautiful faces of 2021, declaring BTS Kim Taehyung number one on the list.
10) Min Yoongi
Min Yoon-gi, known by his stage name SUGA, ranked tenth in the list. He is a South Korean rapper, songwriter and record producer. The rapper debuted as a member of k-pop idol group BTS in 2013.
In 2021, he reached one billion streams on Spotify, becoming the first member to hit this achievement.
9) Kim Namjoon
Kim Namjoon, better known by his stage name RM, came ninth in the list. He is a South Korean rapper, songwriter and record producer. RM is the leader of the South Korean boy group BTS.
He has recorded with artists such as Wale, Younha, Warren G, Gaeko, Krizz Kaliko, MFBTY, Fall Out Boy, Primary, and Lil Nas X.
8) Kim Ji-soo
South Korean singer and actress Kim Ji-soo, known as Jisoo, ranked eighth in the list. She made her debut in August 2016 as a member of the girl group Blackpink under YG Entertainment.
Moreover, Jisoo featured in the successful launch of Dior's new Bobby bag, a campaign which featured other prominent influencers such as Chiara Ferragni and Kat Graham.
7) Lisa
Thai rapper and dancer Lalisa Manoban, known by the mononym Lisa, came seventh in the list. She is also a member of girl group Blackpink. In 2020, Celine officially made its partnership with Lisa as Hedi Slimane selected the star to shine in her own gig.
6) Kim Seok-jin
South Korean singer Kim Seok-jin, also known by his stage name Jin, ranked 6th in the list.
He is a member of the BTS group since June 2013. Jin has co-written and released three solo tracks with the group such as: "Awake" (2016), "Epiphany" (2018), and "Moon" (2020), all of which have charted on South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart.
5) Park Jimin
South Korean singer and dancer Park Jimin held the fifth position in the list. The BTS member has topped the brand reputation ranking for inpidual boy group idols for 27 consecutive months in 2021.
4) Jeon Jungkook
South Korean singer and songwriter Jeon Jung-kook, known as Jungkook, came fourth in the list. He is the youngest member and main vocalist in BTS.
Jungkook, who is referred to as the ‘All-rounder Ace Idol’ by leading media, was selected as an idol who is a main vocalist with excellent professional rap skills, according to NAVER.
3) Park Chan-yeol
South Korean rapper and actor Park Chan-yeol, known as Chanyeol, came third in the list. He is a member of the South Korean-Chinese boy group Exo.
Apart from his singing career, he has also starred in various television dramas and movies such as So I Married an Anti-fan (2016), and Secret Queen Makers (2018).
In 2021, Chanyeol appeared in musical road film The Box, a jukebox musical containing familiar popular songs from world music as; Coldplay, Billie Eilish, and Pharrell Williams in the backdrop of South Korean locales.
2) J-hope
South Korean rapper and dancer Jung Ho-seok, known by his stage name J-Hope, held the second position in the list.
J-Hope released his first solo mixtape, Hope World, worldwide on March 1, 2018, which was met with a positive reception.
On September 27, 2019, he released his solo single ”Chicken Noodle Soup” featuring Becky G which debuted at No. 81 on US Billboard Hot 100, making him the first member of BTS with a Hot 100 hit under his own name.
1) Kim Taehyung
South Korean singer and actor Kim Tae-hyung, also known by his stage name V, topped the list of best face in world of 2021.
In 2020, the BTS member participated in a song titled "Sweet Night" which received generally outstanding reviews for its composition, vocal performance and warm lyrics, and debuted at number 2 on Billboard's U.S. Digital Song Sales chart, the highest debut for a Korean soloist in the chart's history.
