American media personality Kim Kardashian and her husband rapper Kanye West are currently living separate lives, but they are still together.
The couple married in 2014 and have four children together. They were worn by marital problems over the summer amid West's ongoing mental health problems and his doomed bid for the US presidency.
A source told people that the power couple doesn't overlap much, stating that Kardashian is happy focusing on the causes she' is passionate about.
"Kim has work and projects that are important to her, and Kanye has his," the source added.
Indeed, Kim is keeping busy with numerous projects including her SKIMS clothing line and her legal work on prison reform, meanwhile, West appears to be laying low following his failed bid to become president.
The rapper hasn't been active on Twitter since November 4, nor has he been publicly seen with the Kardashian family since the media personality's 40th birthday celebrations in French Polynesia in October.
West is focusing on his own creative projects, such as his Yeezy brand and new music. President of GOOD Music, Pusha T recently announced that the rapper will be a producer on his forthcoming album.
He was last pictured in public on November 20 driving his Lamborghini Urus around Calabasas, where he has an office and studio. When not in Los Angeles with his family, the rapper stays at his $14 million ranch, in Wyoming.
Kardashian and West have had a turbulent year in their marriage.
In August, they took a 'make or break' trip with their children North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 2, and Psalm, 1, to the Dominican Republic and then Colorado, following weeks of speculations if they were on the brink of porce.
The trip came one week after the couple had marriage crisis talks, with Kardashian jetting to Wyoming to speak to her troubled husband of six years. They were pictured having a tense conversation in their car, Kardashian looking distraught and on the brink of tears.
