The South Korean newspaper Chosun Daily, citing intelligence sources, claimed that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has appointed his 13-year-old daughter, Kim Ju-ae, to head the country's nuclear forces.
The newspaper stated, "According to high-ranking government sources familiar with the situation, intelligence agencies have also received information indicating that Kim Jong-un's daughter has assumed the position of Director-General of Missile Systems."
The article further claims that the North Korean leader's daughter is playing an increasingly prominent role in political and military affairs.
The newspaper noted that the 13-year-old "has already begun issuing orders regarding her country's strategic weapons."
