Hossam El-Khouly, a member of the Nation’s Future Party, said Sunday that the turnout in the House of Representatives elections seemed good despite the novel coronavirus pandemic, adding that the National List for Egypt included parties from various political currents.

He added, in TV statements on the CBC channel, that Egypt is witnessing a political movement and honorable competition in the House of Representatives elections.
He pointed out that some of those who did not run on the electoral lists slammed the Nation's Future Party.
“The Nation’s Future Party supports the state,” Khouly said.
Moreover, he manifested; “We have nothing to do with state institutions,” adding that the executive bodies are neutral between all candidates in the House of Representatives elections.
The Senate's member stressed that the Nation’s Future Party seeks to obtain a majority in the House of Representatives elections, and this is the ambition of any party."
Then-MP Khouly was named second deputy chairman last March amid radical changes in the structure of the Nation's Future Party.
The party was founded by a number of businessmen, former judicial officials, and lawyers in November 2014.
