Khaled Galal Preparing for Stage Show at WYF

Head of the Cultural Production Sector, theatre director Khaled Galal is preparing to present a stage show at the World Youth Forum (WYF) third edition, according to leaked information.

WYF is set to kick off from December (14-17) in Sharm El Sheikh Resort City held under the auspices of Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

Galal will perform with his graduate group of the second batch of the cultural production affairs sector’s artistic creativity center.

Despite that, the director is keeping his silence on the leaked news. He posted photos with his graduate group in several photos posted on social network site Facebook taken at one of the cities of peace’s beaches and captioned it with #World Youth Forum hashtag.

Moreover, multinational performers will participate in the show, who is currently training with Galal and his group.

The theatre director has been staging "Cinema of Egypt" play at the Cairo Opera House's artistic creativity center daily for free since July to celebrate the graduation of the new batch, which consists of nearly 60 multi-talented actors.

He will continue staging the play until the end of December.

The play revolves around the conditions of Egypt through the ages through the black-and-white movie “Last Night" co-starring Faten Hamama and Mahmoud Moursy.

Nadia is represented as Egypt who lost its memory and no longer knows its history and greatness.

As it tries to retrieve its memories by going through a huge number of the most important scenes of the Egyptian cinema– the biggest witness to Egypt's culture and artistic glory— is faced by the deformation and regression the Egyptian entertainment industry had faced in previous years.

The artistic creativity center youth succeeded in bring the most famous scenes back to life, that the audience memorized by heart, which included movie snippets from “Al-Zawja Al-Thaniya” (the second wife), “Saghira ala el-hob” (young to fall in love), “Maabodat El Gamahir” (the masses’ idol), “Zoqaq el madaq” (Al Madak Alley), “Sukkar hanem” (Lady Sukkar), “Al Nasser Salah El-Deen” (Saladin the Victorious), “Shafiqa and Metwally”, “Rod Qalby” (Return My Heart), and “Ghazal Al Banat” (Cotton candy).
